The machinery facilities of
the College include a comprehensive range of tractors and
machines. The College does the bulk of its own machinery
operations on the farm, both in grassland and tillage.
The equipment is also
needed in our educational programme. The students are
involved in helping to maintain the equipment under the
supervision of the mechanic and technician.
Our challenge is to keep
our equipment updated so that we can maintain our ability
to educate and train our students.

Students who opt to complete the
machinery modules are given a good basic foundation in the
operation and maintenance of the equipment and tractors.
The College also has a fine
machinery storage shed and a workshop for both the maintenance
programme and the educational programme. Hopefully this helps to
inform you of our efforts and work in relation to machinery and
that you can continue to support our College in its endeavours to
educate young people for a future in farming. Our efforts are an
investment in their future.
